The big picture, the figure with the blue circle underneath, is that Col. Frost?
The glider is cool. I can´t see any Bolt Action dice on the table, so is it Battlegroup, Chain of Command or still something new for us enthusiasts to discover?
One of pictures has s chain of command tracker as showing though that’s not proof they were playing CoC
The literally did not have a card or sign that said what system they were using. Also, these game masters are usually in the midst of games and sometimes you get the feeling they’d rather not be interrupted in the middle of a complex turn sequence. Often the players don’t know. They’re literally just playing the games as walk-ups. And mostly (and this is one of the thing I like best), many of the games are home games, or heavily modded versions of published games.
Neat table! Now @Oriskany just needs to get a hold of picture of the old BOW Pegasus Bridge table and do a side by side comparison.
They were both awesome, and both in 28mm. I would assume they looked similar.
Fantastic looking table. Somethinh very much on my hobby bucket list, particularly as I have the model of the bridge still unassembled. Hi Jemmy, I would suggest that the commander is likeliy to be Major Howard in Operation Deadstick.
Indeed @intelligentmistertoad – I would agree with that. Howard was here at Pegasus. Frost was later at Arnhem / Market-Garden.
C’mon the Brits! Great table.
