Bringing The Community Together With Raku Games

Raku Games, as well as actually working to bring a board game to the tabletop, are really focused on making sure that more of us get stuck into actually working on and indeed playtesting games.

The sense of community is something that is prevalent throughout what we do as gamers and so a company like Raku are great for the kind of focus we need.

It’s always interesting looking at different ways of getting people interested in games and gaming.

Any platforms the helps designers publish games is a great idea. Since indie developers may not know how to begin.

Just an example of the less obvious exhibits (obvious to me meaning Hawk Wargames, Osprey, etc).

That’s a different company one that’s just trying to interface between companies and fans.

Played a demo, neat little game and you could tell the guys were really proud of what they had created. One of those games that is simple to pick up but actually had depth and could get very tactical.

Please forgive this shameless post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve played.

Sort of like a support group for game designers. A collective workshop.
