Checking Out The BoW Board Game Library

Nick and Sean, two of the Boot Campers, are already checking out our library of board games here at Beasts of War before they even get to building...maybe it's too good of a distraction?

There's always something to be said for a bit of multitasking though. Maybe the guys can do some painting and hobby WHILE they play board games?

I can’t multitask, stopping to look at the board game library would bring my hobby / playing time to a standstill at a Bootcamp 🙁 .

You could post a play of Joking Hazard. Just adorn it with a patent pending BoW Immature Content warning.

@buggeroff It’s all part of the service… When ever a group of drunks need an offensive and inappropriate game to play… I’ll be there.

Looking at everything at BOW would be part of the reason I’d go to a boot camp. It would be cool to look at some of the games that BOW have and perhaps play.

I love Joking Hazard. I have several of the GW baord games as well. Original Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, and Chainsaw Warrior!

I really like Fury of Dracula. Have a copy myself. A lot of games there that I am not familiar with though.

Bringing gamers to BoW must set off their shiny syndrome over and over and over. How do they get any painting or gaming in, when all they want to do it go “what is this, and what is that?”

A lot of similar games in that library compared to mine, good to see you’ve got good taste in board games as well as mini games.

So many games (drooling here, lol) I didn’t realize how many games I had accumulated myself until I needed to pack them up and 5 big tubs later I still haven’t packed them all and its not including the many smaller tubs with small games and my playing card horde.

The same is sadly true about wargaming and roleplaying.

Perhaps you need to do a board game boot camp? It’d be a great chance for people to learn a lot of games. I know learning new rules from the books is really intimidating.

Yes, the library is amazing. My eyes always wander off to the background of the Weekender set.

So many board games, kept on pausing to try and find out all of the games.

Has Az joining the team had any further influence on that library growing at a steady pace. Nice collection though by the quick peek we had. I am also glad to see I am not only one with a growing board game collection next to my minis…… so much fun, so little time to have it.

I am loving Az’s lets plays. He’s really good at teaching new players a game without overwhelming them with rules. Just get stuck in and play and you will learn the game while enjoying yourself.
