Checking Out The Dropfleet Dashboard From Dark Ops

We take a look at the awesome Dashboard that Dark Ops has put together for use with Dropfleet Commander condensing everything from the tabletop into one place.

Look out for them towards the beginning of next year and we're going to test out the prototype today!

This does make viewing your fleet a little easier and allows you to use clear bases to see the tabletop beneath, especially when it's a nice Deep-Cut Studio mat!

Those are pretty ingenious I could actually see those being invaluable.

I didn’t get to see this in use but having your discs on your table edge did mean your oponant couldn’t really see it. I’m hoping to use some magnets and a metal skull bead to show damage instead of the pegs which either worked fine or wouldn’t go into a hole and then wouldn’t stay in the hole.

I like it, seems well thought out. But the only issue I see is that your enemy wont be able to tell at a glance how your ships are doing. Instead theyll be tucked away to your side of the board. Some would argue thats a good thing, but it creates kind of an unfair advantage in my opinion.

This tools looks handy, but I don’t think it will help against knocking over ships and other bits, things like that will always happen. :-\
