Custom Scenarios In Wolsung: It's Boat Stealin' Time!

Two of our Boot Camp members have headed on over to our signature table and have come up with a scenario of their own with a narrative and awesome twist.

With some house rules in play, they're looking to try and steal the boat from the docks whilst having to fight off each other for this prize most assuredly laden down with goods and treasures they can sell on the black market.

Great idea, leaping from the building to the mast then dive killing a halfling. Wow this game is getting my juices flowing!!!

The narrative options here look great. Seems pretty open worldy which is very cool.

Do the halflings need special cars to drive, or do they carry booster seats wherever they go? Or was it one on the pedals and one standing up while sterring?

Well, I’ve not played it before, but the flexibility of it does seem amazing. It also seems to run pretty well just on player agreement about scenarios and objectives so that makes for essentially endless options for play. It does seem like it will be scenery heavy though to get the same wide open options.

I’ve never heard of Wolsung until this boot camp and on the second day, I am just about ready to get into this miniatures game. Cool scenarios, as well as free open world to do as you please. I think with this game though, it wouldnt be as fun to me without the huge amount of terrain pieces. Very, very cool.

This game really does lend well to some freeform play. I like the fact that it is pretty easy to create your own scenarios. I might just make the jump this weekend.

Narrative scenarios are nearly always the best scenarios in my opinion. As long as they are kept simple, which they have here.

What a great idea for a scenario, now I want to know who won and did the truck end up in the dock?

It is, but a few well placed sticks of dynamite should take care of that.

This is one of the things i love about gaming, people coming up with ideas and going with it. I take it it was not videoed, it would make for a great little battle report.
