My Mum’s Uncle fought at the 1941 siege of Tobruk … it doesn’t look good for Uncle Des this time
I think he’s safe enough, it’s outside of the Tobruk salient that things went very wrong.
True enough, @beardragon14 and @avernos – so far the 70th Infantry (including 2nd Battalion / Black Watch) is handling the 90th Light Division very well. The 7th Armoured might not get in to relieve them in this attack, but the Germans and Italians aren’t getting in there, either.

Indeed, @fireblarney – Sidi Rezegh airfield is proving a serious obstacle for 4th / 22nd / 7th Armoured Brigades, 7th Armoured Division.
