I agree custom dice will be easier to remember and to use in game.

Very interesting game. And loving the way 4Ground are putting the rules out there for constructive criticism and ideas for improvements and streamlining. Their whole ethic behind this game has been great from the onset.

Custom dice really helps out when rolling a descent pile of dice. Glad to hear they are going to do it.
Glad to see some people are trying to step slowly into a game. Just take it one step at a time.

Any way we can get a small video of one of these smaller games.

I am usually against custom dice because if you loose one you need to buy an entire new set but something as simple as this seems okay.

Ahh, OK, now I know what the matching shirts were for. I was wondering.

Yeah, the game screams for custom dice.

Remembering the demo games when they used the custom dice, I liked it.
But I understand that it can be hard to explain the mechanics to new players that aren’t used to custom dice systems.

Great points from my Scandinavian brethren 🙂 Narrative dice sounds really fun, one could almost imagine some rpg-aspects thrown into the game with it. Will check out the STF-channel for sure!

Great feedback on the game – only gets me more interested!

Also nice to allow STF a bit of air time. 🙂

As lotr is one of my favorite skirmish rulesets so far, it is great to hear positive feedback here! Custom dice would be nice especially for color blind people. Every color could have an easy combination of individuell hits and crits. So the dice could be easily distinguished even if your color blind. 🙂

agree with previous comments custom dice would be easier

I agree with the custom dice thing. Even if you just have pips. The crit could have two pips, success one or something. I didn’t even think about color blind people.

I’ll have to check out their YouTube channel. Glad that the discussion of custom dice has been coming up. I think this will be a big step to simplify things.

Good to hear that the feedback is starting to flow back to the 4ground guys and the suggestion of custom dice is being taken on board. Especially as that was a concern before.

sounds like a ton of fun, I love the idea of narrative dice. I understand why they stopped the custom dice, but I think it might be okay to use them under the current system.

so much fun to learn a new system, and compare 2 different systems.

Yeah I think this is one of those games where custom dice are a much better idea. Like the ones they were using in the older pre/during kickstarter videos

On the earlier demos you guys had here, there were custom dice. That isnt a thing anymore?
