Getting Into The Gaming

One of the big things about the UK Games Expo to consider is that they have so many ways for you to interact and play the games that are on offer.

So many of the vendors have plenty of demos to try out and there are also large areas where you can play the games you've bought, try out new ones with new people and just enjoy yourself.

That’s exactly what happened to me. Mostly at the 4ground stand.

That a cool way to get game you play some attention if you have a place to set it up and teach people about it. nice idea

The event space seems a bit small but at least there’s good lighting

Please forgive this shameless post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve played.

Was such a great show, really glad to see you guys in person walking around and providing great coverage.
Ghostel was my favourite purchase and loved Fabled Realms from 4ground.

I would imagine it would have been neat to play. The majority prob boardgames, but always wanting to try my hand at a few of them, would be a good chance to have tried them out 🙂

Were people pretty good about just inviting a stranger to play a game with them?

The stall in that second picture had really helpful staff. We chatted to them for about 10 minutes about the best 2-player games and they had loads of recommendations. Ended up going for Century Spice Road.

Nice to see kids at the event, I like that the event caters for families.
