John Chats About The Arab Israeli War Demo Table

If you have ever wanted to try out some Arab Israeli war, then check out the great looking demo table set up with Matt, here at the Battlefront Open day. The table is showcasing some of the plastic T54’s versus the Israeli Sho’t Cal (Centurions) and Magach ( M60). For more information on the Arab Israeli war head over to the Battlefront website.

Been waiting for this one. Centurions vs. T-54s which could double in Team Yankee maybe?

I saw the cover shot of the video and for just a moment I had to wonder why John was interviewing Andy Serkis

@noyjatat – We ran a series on this, although admittedly it was a short one and a year ago … 🙂

John makes an extremely good figure in front of the camera. More of this, please. And maybe a battle report about the Arab-Israeli war once in a while. Sheik McAuley vs. Ben Gurilyons.

That looks like a great demo game. Did you capture any of the demo’s?

Still waiting for the 1973 Yom Kippur War “Team Yankee Prequel.” A guy can dream, right? Would make a nice bridge or connection between 1967 Six Day War in traditional FoW and TY battles of later decades.

And honestly, 73 is a “better” background for wargames than 67.

I have some of the original models unfinished and have been waiting for the new rules and some more models so I can start hosting games with a couple of my newbie mates.

You could use a lot of this stuff in the conflicts that took place in various parts of Africa around this period.

This would make for a great theater to game. I really enjoyed Oriskany’s articles on the 6 Day war also.
