While Justin gets the models built, I've got some plans to create some additional terrain for the placeable tiles.
I've gathered up some spare clay and my trusty aquarium foliage to start some cool features.
Is air dry clay also useful for scenic bases? Thanks!
Warren tells me as a medium it lacks the “resolution” and workability for small detailed stuff, and is a bit brittle too.
So probably worth sticking to greenstuff and miliput for that 🙂
Thanks for the help! I was thinking though of simply using it for a basic uneven surface that could be built upon with more detailed stuff like rocks, sand, and foliage. But the brittleness you mention is a problem.
Yeah, I’ve tried using it, and it can be rather crumbly once it’s been dried unless you properly coat it afterward.
