Painting Cobblestone Bases In A Flash

We promised it, and here it is. Join Gerry and Lloyd as they show you how to paint up Cobblestone Bases for your miniatures in Wolsung in short fashion!

The final effect, I think you'll agree, is fantastic and certainly shows off a nice technique for framing your models on the tabletop.

Nice technique. Its good to know mI can buy kiddies junk pastels from the supermarket and do stuff like this. Might be good to get another technique video outside of the boot camp covering this in more detail for other uses, going in to how you fix it normally so it doent blow off, or fade when you varnish.

A great tip there Gerry. I have some cobblestone bases so I might have to go find some pastels.

I’ve used it on a stone tower for saga and gain the stone golem by mantic. It works fantastically. But definitely go up to three colours. Brown, red, and green work great for that.

LOL, just learned another great tidbit from this Boot Camp. I just put a box of 48 hard pastels in my Amazon shopping cart. Extremely good idea!

Quick is good when it comes to painting for me. I have a similar process for stone but I have never done the pastels thing. Have to try it.

Damn! That is excellent.

Any chance of turning this into a full BoW video and not just consigning it to the depths of the unlisted Live channel?

That’s a great idea with the different coloured pigments/pastels, going to have to give it a whirl myself.
