PSC Discuss Divisions Of Steel & ROME: Total War!
We have a grand chat with the folks from PSC Games about their upcoming titles. One of them is a pretty fun, tweaked system for Divisions Of Steel which takes you into World War II.
They also have the brand new ROME: Total War board game that is coming out soon. Are you tempted by this for the Ancient spin on things?
MeG looks a great take on ancients and this looks a great addition
Also I suspect Simon grew up not very far from where I did
He supports Burnley I think
Oh dear. So not far at all then
I have MeG. Still haven’t played it
Covid started just as I was trying to get into ancients so I’m the same for Clash too, could be tempted into MeG too but I should probably play a ancients game of some sort first.
Some interesting stuff shown, thanks. I like the look of Divisions of Steel. The website is here: https://divisions-of-steel.co.uk/wp/
cheers for that Zoid
*very* tiny fighting men…
it’s not epic legion, isn’t it ? 😉
(I do wonder if this could be expanded into a SF setting involving light sabers 😉 )
I bet it could… but would it be official? sadly no
that’s a stunning map to play on. i loved the way totalwar PC would wait until you controlled threequarters of the map then a huge army would appear an decimate most of the treaties you control. Lol
That was a good interview there was a lot there that grabbed my attention. I think I will be checking these games out.
Rome; Total War looks interesting
it does look better than I thought it would to be honest.
It is weird to see a boardgame inspired by a videogame that was inspired by a boardgame …
If this had been Shogun they would have gone full circle.
ROME: Total War looks super interesting.
Not only because of the computer game memories, but I happen to believe that the Total War franchise started off being a computerised version of the Avalon Hill Box game Samurai.
So full circle.
I’m safe from temptations with Romans, but not against tiny tansk
