Some Evening Painting Of Fleets

As the evening continues we're painting a few more ships with people out in the quiet area surrounded by tea and coffee.

It's neat to see how the fleets are coming together so nicely with plenty of interesting schemes.

Those guys have a lot of energy for people who have been gaming all day long.

I know what you mean, trying to absorb all the info all day. I’d be dead tired by this time.

I find that gaming all day with friends (or even like minded enthusiasts) feeds the energy level needed to keep going.

I have been pretty worn out just following the posts. These guys are painting after a full game of painting. Save some energy for the pub.

GIVING MY TYRANIDS SOME LOVE.
But Justin has corrupted me my usual Giger Inspired : Gloss Black, Graphite Black, dark Gun Metal, some Old Tinny Tiny and glossy aged White scheme; is not working Tonight . They are being painted as PIKA PIKA ‘NIDS.

I do not play ‘NIDs,Necrons, nor TAU but I collect and paint them . Well TAU I only do Battle suits , Piranahs and Tetras. pilots for the last 2 are converted guards men heads on Tau bodies. Next big project is the New Tau Battle Force box with human heads or possibly MK6 Corvus helmets. I love those beaks . I play guards, Skaven converted into an Imperial abhuman force, AdMech+ Skitarii, and Dark Angels, painted as the Fallen, on rumour fluff that the Fallen are Loyal to The Emperor and the Dark Angels are the heretics. Just got back from the pub and having had two great games with Richard today and after putting in a few more hours of painting in the Green Room I have almost got my UCM fleet to a good gaming standard…………….when looked at from above hehe

I’ve been primarily airbrushing pretty much any mechanical things I paint for so long that it looks unnatural to see people doing it by hand now!

It is amazing how much detail and paint work has been done, while still playing and learning to play at the same time. Some really skilled painters at that boot camp.

I painted my first miniature today and that took more concentration than I’ve given to anything in ages. Kudos to these chaps for pushing through after a full day of gaming
