Special Giveaway – Mall Mayhem

We dive into one of the games going on around the Mall where they've been running through looking to snap up goodies and get out.

We have a giveaway to get stuck into too however so let's see how it goes...

Pretty sure it was Justin back a few weekenders ago not liking the use of GM’s in games.. he seems to have taken to quite well this weekend. Good job, love the custom stuff.

Got to take a time out from following the BootCamp, major earthquake and Tsunami warning. Gonna need to evacuate. Got to pack up minis first!

Go one better…..Carl gets on the skateboard, skates to the mini. Gets in the mini, drives up and down the Mall until he kills every zombie. Fills the boot with loot. Then in Epic style crashes through the glass doors and rides off into the sunset.

Maybe add a rule for sneaking while using a cardboard box. Take the supplies and then sneak away….

What a weekend. Beasts of war definitely know how to throw a gaming weekend. Never really appreciated the 4ground terrain until I started following the build up to this boot camp…it really is amazing. Gonna have to get hold of some I think…Might have to save up first though…haha

People are enjoying playing with the massive mall. I would like to have the chance to play on it someday.

The 4ground terrains that I will like to see is an hospital, a prison, a school, a golf cours, a nuclear plant, the White House and Buckingham Palace!

Enjoy the boot camp week end!!! 😉

Check out ‘This is Not a Test’ by World’s End Publishing. It’s basically Fallout: the minis game, and then some.

I second This is Not a Test, absolutely brilliant game. I’m still waiting for my hardback to arrive (which I think should be one the website when all backers receive their stuff) but you can get the newly updated PDF.

As already said it’s pretty much just Fallout on the tabletop but you can make it work in virtually any setting you want.

Definitely give it a go. The most fun gaming I have had is to GM for rpg’s and tabletop games. You can be the story teller; the element of surprise and controlled ‘randomness’. As Warren would say – you create narrative. Being a GM is a very creative process, and and sometimes a lot of work, but on the whole very rewarding and an enjoyable experience for everyone participating. 🙂

Nice consolation prize for feeding the walkers. The ruleset does feel like it lends itself to special rules and new twists. I guess Mantic think the same with the expansions.

First to die – aka “play it like somegeezer would act in the real apocalypse”

First to die? Easy; run to the food court, cover yourself in condiments, and rush a mob of Walkers.

On Q the first survivor dies, just as @Justin turns up. I think @Justin has spies, and when it looks like somethings about to happen he`s there like the flash.

Everyone`s having barrels of fun, just a pity it has to end. There is always the next one, so the fun never end`s it just goes on hold for a while.

Looks like everyone had a fantastic time. The more I see of the mall the more I want it.
