Take On A Tabletop Challenge With Guards of Atlantis & Wargate + Win Prizes!
We managed to talk with the guys from Wolff Designa as they told us all about Guards Of Atlantis & Wargate, two of their big games which were being demoed here at the event this weekend.
We also managed to snag a prize where you could get your hands on Guards Of Atlantis itself by commenting.
I’ve never played a computer Moba, never been interested, but I’m curious about a board game one.
Both looking good
Warpgate I will be looking for it on KS!
card driven seems to be the way a lot of these are going. looks like fun though
That is the largest tabletop moba I have heard of.
no dice badluck. perfect game for me.
Here we are on the third and final day. It’s been a long weekend but for anyone who attended apparently a fun one. However, since it is the final day then it’s my last chance to shamelessly post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve ever played.
Moba isn’t my thing, but I can say that the games on the tabletop looked amazing.
Cool games, looking forward to the kickstarter
Moba game without dice sounds like it could be good
I really like the idea of card drafting to do your actions. I do like rolling dice but there is a bit of luck involved but this sounds really fantastic. Some cool minis as well to boot. The generosity of the traders this year is amazing some much cool stuff.
card driven games for the win!
Dient knie the game, but looks interesting
Love the Atlantis game!
Eleven players? Crazy!
MOBA’s as board games could be interesting if designed right
Very good design have played it several times, very good balance and in know time you are experienced in game and it goes pretty fast!!!
Looks interesting.
Warpgate sounds cool, a striped down streamlined version of Twilight Imperium. Oh yeah!
Guards of Atlantis has definitely got my attention. It looks like a great game with super mechanics. As a Mythic Battle backer I’m getting impatient to get a cool miniatures boardgame on the table soon and this could scratch that itch immediately. I bet there would be an interesting comparison between this, Mythic Battles and Lords of Hellas.
I have Moooooobas
Loving the recent resurgence of card mechanics, and Atlantis look like a great little game. Wargate kickstarter date locked in!
Thanks for the show!
I liked the Guards coverage on BoW a few monthes ago
Guards Of Atlantis has a great concept, though I never tried it yet
