Terrain Mats with Deep Cut Studio [PRIZE]

Ben stops by with Kostas with Deep Cut Studio to look at some of the terrain maps they have available on the show floor. Deep Cut supply a lot of the mats for the weekender show but they also do branded mats with Steamforged for Guild Ball.

I thought Warren would be the one making the interview. But then again. He would proberly just go into a coma with all those mats 🙂

@brennon Yes, despite the obviously amazingly detailed and totally gorgeous looking huge variety of terrain-based gaming mats available, I ended up getting an all purpose plain black 80cm x 80 cm mat for card and board games. Those pop-up dice squares look so tempting too…

A free mat could compel me to buy a guild ball starter.

Just ordered their underhive and urban ruins. Would love to snag this mat.

I like that ‘choose your own mat’ idea

It is the Deep Cut Studio Guild Ball Mat that I picked when I started. Our new Guild Ball League starts in September so I can’t wait to play again. Oh geez, just realized, between Guild Ball and X-Wing 2.0 this fall my wife may never see me the entire fall.

The mats these guys make just keep getting better. Could we get a bit more info on the cool little dice tray’s.

I have their grass matt on cloth which works out great for all sorts of mini periods. The black matt is a great idea. They should do green “felt” matt for card players on the other side. Good stuff from Vilnius.

That’s a pretty rad looking mat, I do have a couple 6×4 mousemats from a different company, and they’re pretty amazing to play on, transport, and store, but I’ve had my eye on expanding with some of the Deep Cut ones for a while

I don’t think it would be an exaggeration to say that gaming mats are a huge part of the reason I got back into gaming. I just know I can focus on the miniatures and once they aren’t ready I can get a fully immersive game on. No need to spend an equal amount of time working on a game board. And they are so easy to store. Revolutionary!
