Interesting chat “Quickshade is not cheating”
That makes me feel a lot better about myself paintingwise 😉
me too
@Destiny is a “sneaky ****er”….. epic coment of the weekend so far pmsl
Liking the stance that the way forward is to just keep doing what they do well, nice to see a company that doesn’t want to change stuff just for the sake of “progress”.
Fantastic to see that these guys are such enthusiasts.
When I seen Bo for the first time on Friday I though corporate sales person. Throughout the weekend I can see I was very wrong in such an awesome way! Can hear the passion.
What a great story. I love it when a vision becomes a reality.
Is Army Painter hiring?
Yeah, I knew a lot of uptight, sanctimonious fu…uh, strongly opinionated individuals who looked down on the whole dipping/quickshade method and the people who used it. Never made any damn sense to me.
Army painter guys seem like a fun bunch, with a passion for the hobby. Love their focus. Good chat.
What a great story, and what nice guys. I must admit I have only started using Army Painter products since I got back into the hobby but I have been impressed with every one I have purchased.
more partnerships incoming?^^
really enjoyed the blogs over the weekend & have picked up quite a few tips that will get tried out in the next few months, night even give the “dip & flick” a try at some point
Awesome
They seem like a great group of guys. I understand that there are a lot of people who really enjoy spending 20-30 hours on each mini. I really like that there is a company who says “You don’t have to do that if it is not your thing.” Get em painted, get em on the table, and have fun! This weekend very likely has made me an Army Painter convert! I really hope I can find these guys at a Con in the US this season.
Perfect for those who want to get an army on the table superfast.
It’s been fun to see army painter grow, especially all the partnerships
Army Painter is absolutely amazing, love your product! In the future is there a chance that you will bring a facility to the US? All you guys need to do is get some of those specialty, effects types of paints. Blood, rust, verdigris stuff like that maybe a textured paint or two maybe a filler for the gaps in the models. Love you stuff great work guys.
Agreed. Effects paint would be awesome and make pushing your miniatures’ quality a bit further without spending ages.

I have been using Army Painter for several years now, and they are by far my favorite paints. And no, I am not saying this to win a bundle. I actually just got another one last month, as well as a veterans set, as payment for working on some friends stuff. The color tones coming out are great. They make for some cool shading and effects. Great work guys. Hope for a great future for you.
Very cool story about the company and the guys themselves.
great guys
Guys congrats building such a great business.
Would like to see more run in the states. Great to hear success stories in the industry like this.
Pretty interesting chat. Both seem like pretty good guys with a lot of passion for what they do.
@swbeil
I agree. They need a few more effects, but their paint range is great.
Waterbased paints are awesome!
Awesome
