Dave from TTCombat comes to tell us about the updates for both Dropzone Commander and Dropfleet Commander which is getting an awesome new update with the Battle For Earth.

DZC is the game that sucked me back into wargaming, having come across reviews on it on a board game website. Amazing models and fluff, and hopefully this latest expansion will relight interest in a great interlinked system. Hopefully TTC will give it the exposure and support it deserves.

I’ve been looking forward to DZC 2.0 for awhile now but I admit I’m a bit nervous about the changes even after seeing the Beta rules.

Looks like some decent terrain. What scale is the terrain?
@darthonthedamned the terrain is mostly 28mm / 32mm, although the stuff for DZC is 10mm. The World War Two terrain is smaller, aimed at more realistically proportioned / 25mm / 28mm. Hope that helps.

I haven’t played Dropzone or Dropfleet Commander in a while now. I was waiting for the full release of 2.0 before really diving back in. That display board looks incredible, and the Resistance fleet fits their flavor perfectly!

I have a lot of painted DZC minis at home, would be nice to give the new rules a spin. Maybe add a Behemoth or two!
