What Is Wolsung? Talking Background With Lukasz

We sit down with Lukasz from Micro Art Studio to talk about the world of Wolsung and what you can expect when you sit down to play games in this awesome Steampunk world.

With a little bit of background under your belt, we hope you'll enjoy getting more stuck into the factions and the game itself over the days to come.

I’m looking forward to watch some full games. I enjoy table top games with low overhead to setup and not bogged down by lots of rule books to constantly refer to. This is sounding very promising as a game to have to play with my gaming friends and family.

Sounds like a great narrative based game to me.

Yeah, I’ll be dead long before 90. Painting miniatures isn’t the most active of hobbies.

Depends where you store your paints. If you have to get up and walk across the room every time you chance colour, it might off set the usual sedentary aspects of the hobby.

Nice interview. Interesting background and the game sounds very intuitive.

It sounds interesting. Intrigued by the way the game play can change based on interaction of heroes, scenarios, and henchman. I already know Micro Art Studio makes good stuff from all the scenic bases I have from them. I think they’ll have to really try to get noticed with all the competition but I’m willing to give it a go.

Reminds me of Arcanum, that old PC Game… I loved this game.

When I first saw this game I thought it was a bit Gimmicky. Never was a huge Steampunk guy, but after watching a few Let’s Plays and the model counts it looks like it’s a good time.

It is a really well crafted game and a really well developed backstory. The characters that I have seen in your previous coverage of this game are spot on.

Such colorful characters! I can see players wanting to act out their personalities during play.

I love that it started as an RPG. It started with a story, and they came up with combat to fit the story.
