Shadow Beasts Stalk The Tabletops Of Malifaux Soon

Wyrd Games have another preview for us this week as they look ahead to what's new for Malifaux. This time around we're looking at the shadowy beasts known as Nocturnes who are being summoned to the tabletop by the Explorer’s Society.

These strange creatures serve one of the new masters coming to Malifaux soon. They are pretty cheap to summon by English Ivan and are able to strike at foes easier when they have already been engulfed in shadow by your team. As with everything in Malifaux, putting together crews with good combinations of abilities is the key towards victory.

Unleashing shadow beasts sounds like a really epic thing to do on the tabletop and the best thing is that they will also be really easy to paint. Slap some black paint on them, do a bit of drybrushing with grey and blue here and there and you're pretty much done.
All you need to do now is wait patiently for Wyrd Games to release this new crew!

These follow quite a common pattern with Malifaux minis: same stats but three very different models. I love that they do this.
It is really cool to be fair, especially with the different poses part of the art on the stat card. Makes it so easy to keep track of in game and looks so cool
