1st Corp is continuing to build on their range of World War II options for the British with two support weapons which will be able to give some covering fire to your advancing infantry. They start with the British Vickers Machine Gun Team.

The Vickers is one of those iconic guns from the period and a workhorse of the British army. The models here are presented with their camouflaged helmets and whilst the painting probably isn't the best here, it does show off how these would come to life.

As well as the machine gun they also have the British 3" Mortar Team which is going to be bombarding enemy positions from afar.

I have a love/hate relationship with mortars in my World War II games. I was consistently pinned down by them when I played one game of Bolt Action, and then in a second game, my mortar was able to smash apart a house and kill a pesky sniper with some lucky rolls!

So, if you're looking for some alternative models to help support a growing British army these are well worth checking out.

What do you think?
