A WW2 Chain Of Command Project Too Far? Building Arnhem Bridge For 28mm Wargaming!
March 27, 2025 by johnlyons
John introduces us to a Chain Of Command project that he is currently working on for a weekend of World War 2 wargaming coming up in just two weeks! He and Warren have to build Arnhem Bridge, made famous from A Bridge Too Far and a tabletop of terrain for use in a 28mm game of Chain Of Command being played out soon in the studio.
With visitors coming in just over a week's time, John goes through some of the plans that they have for bringing the bridge too life without too much hassle. Do you think they're going to be able to complete it by next weekend?
Keep an eye out to see if John has been able to finish the project next week!

Looking great thanks John 😄
This needs music. Like To The Hilt by Die Krupps. Sing with me!
Burn the bridges
Forge ahead
To the hilt!
To the hilt!
No? ok, just me then 😉
Cheers John, all your efforts and hard work will be very much appreciated.
For the love of VLOG!!!! Awesome to see some vlog content from the studio once again!
This looks a like a fantastic project so I can’t wait to see it continuing over the next few weeks, that bridge looks ace already!
I’d keep the difference in elevation, theres quite a slope to the bridge and it would also add a nice feel to the table now having it at the same level as the main board.
Great project!
Loving the first video so far, will be interesting to see how this all develops.
Yay this is going to be fabulous looking set of video’s of the project and the final results of the set for a game table’s to play on 👍
It’s spectacular and we had a great weekend of gaming 🙂
thanks to Justin for tolerating us and John and Warren for their hard work on creating Arnhem. Thanks so much for allowing us to play 🙂
