A Grizzled Veteran Coming Soon For Heer46’s WWII Range

A new World War II miniature is on the way for the Heer46 range very soon. Looking like a proper grizzled veteran of the war, this fellow seems like he has seen some time on the frontlines.
This particular soldier is based on an existing photograph of a soldier from the war although I can't place him. If anyone has any idea who this particular fellow is it would be great to know in the comments!
Either way, the character is looking fantastic and I love the mix here with his uniform looking pristine beneath whilst also swathed in furs and warmer clothing. He seems like the perfect character to include as part of a diorama, perhaps the last man standing after a brutal battle has been fought in a snowy woodland.
