Bring New Militia Fighters To Spectre’s Modern Wargame

Spectre Miniatures has released some new figures for their Modern Warfare wargame, Spectre Operations. You can now get your hands on a selection of MENA sets, which introduce Militia to your games in 28mm scale alongside a few vehicles.

MENA Militia Command // Spectre Miniatures

MENA stands for Middle East and North Africa and allows you to cover the various militia groups that would have and are currently fighting in that region. This could allow you to cover major conflicts but also smaller engagements and scuffles between warlords and mercenaries.

The Militia Command set above comes with a set of high-ranking soldiers as well as a Commander and his supporters who are making sure their presence is known in the streets of town or in the depths of the desert.

Matched against the Command options, you've also got your Militia Fighter and Militia Support sets, which you can use to form the basis of your force on the tabletop, either controlled by an opponent or a games master.

The Militia Fighters come armed with the classic AK47, which is found pretty much everywhere within this corner of the world. You can see that some of the fighters are wearing empty plate carriers, which just allow them to snap on extra ammunition; handy when running and gunning.

The Militia Support set comes with a few different options that will then give you ways for tackling tougher targets on the battlefield.

This set comes with the PKM machine gun, RPK light machine gun and a range of RPGs with a variety of warhead options. You also have two marksmen. One of them is using the iconic Dragunov and the other is armed with a G3 battle rifle. Use these fellows for taking down lightly armoured enemy vehicles and pinning your foes in place so you can swarm them.

New UGV Kits

As well as the MENA miniatures, you can also get a couple of UGVs. You can get the Pitbull and the Marker!

Pitbull UGV // Spectre Miniatures

The Pitbull is the first of the Unmanned Ground Vehicles which has a low profile and can be armed with the fearsome .338 magnum chambered minigun. This means that it can engage infantry and light vehicles with ease and being remotely operated, the crew won't be in too much danger.

You also have the Marker.

This is a Russian UGV which can be armed with a variety of weapons. Slot in the quad ATGM and the PKM machine gun and let it rip against infantry and armour. A solid option for those looking to also loot something and use it further afield.
