Grab Plastic Soldier Company’s New World War II British Sets
April 10, 2025 by brennon
Plastic Soldier Company added three new sets to their collection of print-on-demand figures for you to use in your tabletop wargames. There are both 10mm and 12mm options available for those wanting to dive into World War II as the British and their Commonwealth allies.
British & Commonwealth Infantry Platoon // Plastic Soldier Company
We start with the 12mm offerings and the Infantry Platoon that you see above. This set contains four Officers, four NCOs, one Radio Operator, a PIAT team, a 12 inch Mortar Team, twenty Riflemen and three Bren Gun Teams.
This should give you a fairly solid base to work for all manner of different World War II miniatures games. If you want to bulk this set out a bit more, you can also get the Heavy Weapons Platoon, also in 12mm, which introduces a bit more firepower to proceedings.

Inside this set, you'll get three 3 inch Mortar Teams, two Vickers HMG Teams, two PIAT Teams and two Sniper Teams. That's enough to lay down some covering fire and perhaps pick out a few key targets as the rest of your platoon advances across the tabletop.
10mm British & Commonwealth Troops
If you prefer your miniatures in 10mm scale, then you can also get the British & Commonwealth Motor Platoon, which comes with the same miniatures as the Infantry Platoon (in a different scale) alongside four M5 Halftracks.

All of these miniatures are print-on-demand using high-quality resin designed for use on the tabletop and wargaming. It's neat to see more of these smaller-scale bundles coming about from different producers, offering up a bit more choice for those who want to dive into World War II but away from the more standard scales of 15mm and 28mm.
Do you think you could be drawn to one of these new Platoons?
