A poster has just appeared for an upcoming movie, telling the story behind the greatest vampire of all time: Dracula Untold!

Dracula Untold

Dracula Untold is set to be a dark, atmospheric origin story, telling the tale of how Vlad Tepes (played by Luke Evans) was transformed into the terrifying vampire Dracula who would later go on to be told of in the book by Bram Stoker.

The film promises to be a medieval fantasy, where vampires and beings, such as the famous witch Baba Yaga, play their part in the creation of a legend. The film itself was also filmed in Northern Ireland, so it will be cool to see how the country we live in gets turned into Transylvania.

It's a film that, I think, has an interesting premise to it. We have seen Dracula's origins explored previously, most notably in Gary Oldman's depiction of the character, but this is the first time it has been the focus of an entire film. However, I'm also a bit worried that it could end up as more of the same unimaginative fantasy movies that we have seen before. We shall have to wait until October to find out.

What do you think guys? Are you hopeful for this movie? Or do you remain cautious?
