Wargames Atlantic previewed their new plastic set that you'll be able to slot into your 10mm Samurai armies. The Samurai Army Command set will be available for you to pick up next Friday.

The set comes with parts for you to make your army command post (Honjin), commanders for individual units, messengers running across the battlefield and more. There are going to be 108 10mm soldiers and accessories in the set that represent a great mix of components for you to tinker with.

As you can see from the painted previews here, the set looks gorgeous. When it comes to breaking it down, the set will contain...
- 2x Taiko Drums and 4 Drummers
- 4x Foot and 2 Mounted Messengers
- 12x Jinmaku sections with 4 additional posts
- 2x Standing, 4 Seated, and 2 Mounted Daimyos or Generals
- 4x Foot and 4 Mounted Signalers
- 12x Large Banners
- 2x Uma-jirushi Standard Bearers
- 8x Three-man Hata-jirushi Command Stands
- 8x Two-man Hata-jirushi Command Stands
- 8x One-man Hata-jirushi Bearers
With the existing plastic sets in the Grand Battle Scale range you've pretty much got everything that you need for a Samurai battle or two. Your Ashigaru and Samurai can now be led by some (hopefully) competent commanders as you fight for control of the island of Japan.

The set will be available for you to pre-order from Friday, 28th February so you won't have long to wait before you can start dreaming up whatever new project you have in mind for your Samurai. This also gives us an interesting direction for where Wargames Atlantic might take their other Grand Battle Scale sets.
Are you going to be picking up the new Samurai Army Command set?
"This also gives us an interesting direction for where Wargames Atlantic might take their other Grand Battle Scale sets..."
They are very far away!
You have just given me an idea! Thanks!
What? Hold on! You can’t hold me accountable! I SHOULD BE SUPERVISED!
Too many projects.
