3DBreed Bring A Mighty 28mm Roman Army To Kickstarter

3DBreed are back on Kickstarter right now with a new campaign aiming to bring a range of 28mm STL files to the tabletop for Roman armies, ready to conquer the ancient world. The current campaign focuses on building up the core of two armies for use in games like Hail Caesar.

The current collection covers what you'd expect from the Roman Legion and their fearsome Germanic foes at the time. You have a solid core of infantry in the form of the Legionaries, as well as Command Groups, Auxiliary and also the Germanic side of the conflict.

Both sets have command elements as well as a chieftain for the Germanic forces. Because you're going to be 3D printing these files at home, this should allow you to make some rather impressive armies for both sides. You will also note that the two armies get shield packs (the shields for the Romans will be more curved in the final files).

Pledging as part of the campaign could also give you access to the unlocked stretch goals as they become available. Backers have already managed to work their way through quite a few. If you'd like to test the prints before you dive in, you can get a Free Sample.

3DBreed produces some fantastic miniatures and they've created quite a few campaigns at this point. This should mean that you're getting top-notch 3D printable files once they deliver, which will be as soon as the Kickstarter funds are collected! Some Stretch Goals and Add-Ons might get added into the mix later on down the line but the core of the work has already been done.
