4Ground To Tackle Trains With Trackside & Waterway Collection
September 11, 2015 by brennon
4Ground are going to be taking their excellent terrain to the realm of Model Railways with their Trackside & Waterway collection. The first releases, two of which you can see below, will be for OO scale but they will continue to branch out over time...
The two kits they have right now are the Signal Box and Station for Hanford. The kits come pre-painted as you might expect with a degree of assembly needed.
Of course these may be designed for railway modelling but could potentially also fit into some smaller scale creations for wargaming too. It seems a very natural fit for them to start looking at other hobby enthusiasts so I look forward to what they have in mind for the future.
What do you think of the designs?

I’m no railway modeller but this seems a great move for 4G.
Knowing railway enthusiasts, I don’t think this will pay off, unless it resembles real life buildings I don’t think they will be used.
How does the scale translate into wargaming?
20mm @redben
OO Scale is 1:76 so it would work with 20mm figures.
I think most railway miniature people are 20mm

In which case I hope they make them available in 28mm too.
agreed there is plenty of 00 scale around when it comes to Railways and precious little when it comes to 28mm
I’d love a 28mm train station for Bolt Action.
Lloyd’s gonna love these…
