Cubicle 7 has been previewing a new book for those diving into Adventures In Middle-earth. The Lonely Mountain, Erebor, lies in wait for you to discover its secrets.

Adventures In Middle-earth Erebor Adventures - Cubicle 7

Erebor Adventures brings together a series of six linked ready-to-play adventures which follow your group as they save not just Dale but the Lonely Mountain. Those who might have played The One Ring Roleplaying Game will be familiar with these tales as they are drawn from Laughter Of Dragons but fully converted to work with the 5E rules used in Adventures In Middle-earth.

"With the death of Smaug, Wilderland has been spared the terror of Dragon-fire and the plans of the Dark Lord to bring devastation and savage swords upon the Free Folks of the North have been foiled. But the Enemy knows that in times of peace there is a subtler way to reach the heart of Dwarves and Men: Treachery!

Visit the Kingdom of Bard the Dragonslayer, see the wondrous toy-market of Dale and the reconstructed Lake-town and gain access to the halls of the King under the Mountain, as you side with Balin son of Fundin in his search to foil a conspiracy threatening to bring war to the North."

This sounds fascinating and I love the idea that this follows on behind the death of Smaug, building on the mythos and storytelling of this time between The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings.

Pre-orders for the book will start next week with an expected release towards the end of 2019.

Will you be heading off to adventure in Erebor?
