Ahsoka Leads The Way In Legion + Revamped Rebels & Stormtroopers!
March 18, 2025 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games are firing up a whole host of new releases for use in their Sci-Fi wargame, Star Wars: Legion. Leading the way, we have a commander of the Clone Wars in the form of Padawan Ahsoka Tano.
Commander & Padawan Ahsoka Tano // Star Wars: Legion
This set brings the long-awaited Commander Ahsoka Tano and Padawan Ahsoka Tano miniatures to the tabletop for use in Star Wars: Legion. Based on the look of the character from the Clone Wars Animated Series before she became Fulcrum and the legend she is now, she served as a leader of the 501st Legion alongside Anakin Skywalker.
Commander & Padawan Ahsoka Tano - Miniature // Star Wars: Legion
She comes with a bunch of new rules that will help you tweak and update your Galactic Republic army. Obviously, you can throw her into the mix alongside Anakin Skywalker and have some real fun seeing how this dynamic duo take on the Separatists.
Revamped Rebels & Stormtroopers
Some of the first sets from Star Wars: Legion are also getting a proper revamp. The Rebel Troopers and Stormtroopers are getting all-new plastic kits which give the game a fresh look that mixes with the updated designs that we've been seeing for Legion over the years.
Rebel Troopers // Star Wars: Legion
The Rebel Troopers set comes with eleven new miniatures that come in a variety of new poses and with tactical build options. The hard plastic provides a clean, crisp finish and most importantly, offers up more alien options!

Having additional alien heads in the set is a big win in my opinion. These miniatures do look more dynamic than the original plastic sets and they should be fun to mix and match as you see fit. Slot these folks into your Rebel army and build up the backbone of your force.
Going up against them, you can also get a new hard plastic set of Stormtroopers!
Stormtroopers // Star Wars: Legion
This set, once again, introduces a bunch of Stormtroopers that can form the backbone of your army. You get a load of new poses for these Stormtroopers alongside the classic weapon loadouts that you would expect.

These updates to the original plastic kits have been a long time coming. It would be great to get a closer look at the kits and see what the details are like now. The hard plastic allows for crisper detail which should mean that they paint up exceptionally well without too much hassle!
Could you be tempted to scoop up these new plastic miniatures for Star Wars: Legion? Would you start with the Era of Rebellion or will you be going back to the Clone Wars?

I would love to see the actual sprues. Having collected all Rebel and Empire troops since day 1 I do not really need more minis for those factions.
I think.
Do I?
Finally Asoka for Legion Clone Wars. I was about to order from a proxy from a third party. Also the rebels look nice.
It’s kind of weird it has taken them this long for her to be added in …
I agree, considering she is a major character in the Clone Wars.
I have a Rebellion Era starter and bought the Echo Base rebels. I was hoping my friend would get the Snowtroopers this year… as we both just sunk close to £200 into Bolt Action I think it unlikely.
Would be good to have Ahsoka in my army, but last time I check the rebel version was out of stock.
And all my stat cards are original rules, not the current version.
The cards (most of them) are available as free pdfs.
I don’t have a colour printer and would prefer cards than on screen at the table.
There will be card packs.
Seriously on the fence with these. As an Empire player I welcome the arrival of plastic Stormtroopers. The sculpts are ok, in keeping with the original release but not as nice as the subsequent upgrade release. The poses are where I struggle, they are just really odd and awkward looking.
Actual hard plastic would make me want to paint Legion again. The previous material was awful.
