Antediluvian Miniatures’ Wars Of The Bruce’s Collection Expands
April 15, 2025 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures has expanded their collection of 28mm Medieval figures for you to use during your Wars Of The Bruce's. Leading the way are two notable figures, The Bruce himself and the Black Douglas, ready to kick ass and take names.
The Bruce & Douglas On Foot // Antediluvian Miniatures
You can currently get both of these miniatures on horseback but this now introduces a couple of miniatures for when these warriors get unhorsed during the battle. A horse won't do you much good in a siege either, so these could represent them when they're scaling the walls to do a bit of the dirty work alongside the rest of their troops. With plenty of good Medieval wargames available right now, I'm sure you'll find a game to fit them into.
Watching over these characters are a band of Foot Knights armed with a variety of fearsome-looking weapons. Have these fellows fighting alongside the Black Douglas as he storms citadels and causes all kinds of chaos for the English.

The core of your fighting force is also getting an update with some more infantry and bowmen. You can get a set of infantry with assorted weapons, all still in dynamic and action packed poses which is perfect for skirmish games in particular.

I am also a big fan of archers and it's good to see a second set of them joining the Historical range from Antediluvian. Once again, I like that the miniatures are in a variety of poses so you've got a good sense of the action going on.

All of these figures are now available from Antediluvian Miniatures, ready for you to slot into whatever Medieval wargame is top of your list at the moment. I think you'd have a lot of fun painting these, especially the key figures in The Black Douglas and The Bruce himself.
Will you be picking these miniatures up?
