Ares Games have added to their Wings of Glory WWI line-up with two more planes. These give you more options for dogfighting in some classic planes...

Phonix D.I

First up we have this Phönix D.I which looks like it wouldn't be too hard to see taking to the skies.

Phönix D.I (Lang)

As well as the regular content within these plane packs the sets will also contains...

"...specific cards with optional rules and game information specific to each model - such as optional equipment (rockets, machine gun), special rules for individual airplanes, ace cards and skill cards"

Which is pretty awesome. I like the idea of them adding in some more fun options for weapons allowing you to start blowing folks out of the air in different ways.

Sopwith 1 1/2  Strutter

There is also this new plane, the Sopwith, too which is a little more camouflaged. I don't know how much that matters but I always assumed they were painted in grey/blue so that they were harder to see from below by any big guns.

Sopwith 1 Strutter (Costes-Astor)

The pilots have also been named for these with Lang flying the Phönix D.I and Costes/Astor flying the Sopwith. There are additional pilots too so if a different one takes your fancy you can get stuck in.

What do you think?
