Avatars Of War have two new miniatures for you to check out this week which might help you expand your Fantasy collection. We start off with a model from Lost Kingdom Miniatures which has been introduced into their Ninth Age collection.

Skink Priest - Avatars Of War

Skink Priest // Avatars Of War

This Skink Priest is one of their awesome sculpts which was brought to life through Kickstarter and would be a great option for those looking to lead a new army of Lizardmen into battle. I like that this particular hero miniature seems a little more buff compared to others of his kind and could probably hold his own if needed. However, he is also able to call on impressive magical abilities and tame the creatures of the jungle too as demonstrated by his snake pal!

You can also pick up a new Saurian Player from Avatars Of War to use in games like Blood Bowl.

Saurian Player - Avatars Of War

Saurian Player // Avatars Of War

I don't think you'd ever really give the ball to a Saurus during your games as they aren't well known for their ball-handling skills but if it did end up in their claws I reckon it would be hard to shift. I have the feeling that this particular player might just beat you to death with the ball rather than running for the endzone.

I do like the two different looks for the miniature depending on where you view it. On its back, you have all those ridges and spikes whilst on the front its traditional scaly skin. It should make this miniature quite fun to paint.

What do you make of these reptilian releases?
