Black Scorpion Miniatures were going to be releasing a bunch of new models at Salute this weekend but since it was cancelled they decided to sort out an online sale which features a bunch of new and old characters from their collection.

Plague Doctor - Black Scorpion Miniatures

We start with the rather apt if potentially disconcerting option of the Plague Doctor who is their miniature which will be free with orders over £25 on their webstore. He is certainly maintaining safe social distancing measures and looks like he would be a fiendish fellow to add into any number of skirmish games.

Sticking with the single figure releases we also have this epic looking Preacher model for those who like their Wild West games.

Preacher - Black Scorpion Miniatures

I'm fairly sure that when it comes to Wild West games, there is no one quite as cool as a Preacher with a shotgun and the fury of God behind him. This fellow would be great for your traditional Wild West games as a Preacher who has decided to hand out his own justice or in a setting which gets a little bit weirder!

Pirates & Mercenaries

As well as the single figure releases, Black Scorpion Miniatures has also collected together some bands of miscreants and vagabonds. We lead with a set of Privateers.

Privateers Pack Three - Black Scorpion Miniatures

This set of ladies with their pistols and cutlasses at the ready were all originally available as individuals but they have been banded together here to form the bulk of a crew or warband who are setting out to cause mischief. The game of Cutlass! is great fun and these models would be a neat fit for that world.

We also step into the Fantasy world of Breninmoor and got a peek at a new pack of Mercenaries who will fight for you if you have the gold!

Mercenaries Pack Two - Black Scorpion Miniatures

I wouldn't trust these vagabonds as far as I could throw them but sometimes you need to step onto the wrong side of the street to get things done. I do like the fellow on the right with the sword and shield. He strikes me as an old soldier who knows his way around a blade but grew tired of his pompous leaders.

If you're looking to make a crew for skirmish games then these fellows would make a good shout, especially something like Rangers Of Shadow Deep.

Monstrous Mounts

Finally, we've also got the Breninmoor Hunt. We won't dwell on these too much as we've covered them in the past but if you're looking for creatures with exotic mounts then these would be worth a look.
