Have Some Bloody Good Fun With Henge Games’ Barbarity
February 19, 2025 by brennon
Something a bit different for you today from the folks at Henge Games. They are taking to Gamefound soon with a new card game, Barbarity, which is bloody, brutal and tongue-in-cheek. It comes from Mark Brendan who has worked on Solomon Kane as well as games like Void, Celtos, Warheads, Age Of Tyrants and more.
Barbarity // Henge Games
Barbarity sounds like it would be right up Warren's alley with its barbarian themes, plenty of plunder and mighty pecs on show for all to see. The game has been designed for between two and five players and only takes around half an hour to play. The game is already looking drenched in gore and comic book ultra-violence which certainly fits with the Barbarian theme.

More gameplay details are planned to be shared in the near future before the start of the Gamefound campaign at the end of this week.
Blue Senga // Barbarity
Barbarian, Thief, Pirate, King // Barbarity
It's already got plenty of nods to iconic heroes, anti-heroes and villains in the artwork and design and I'm sure there will be plenty more where they came from.

I'll be intrigued to find out more about the game once the campaign goes live. I like my barbarians and so the chance to dive into a quick bit of slaughter might be just what the doctor ordered. Gamefound and Kickstarter are made for small games like this so they can get a look in and become a reality so maybe have a closer look at this once the campaign fires up.
What do you make of Barbarity from these sneaky peeks?

I am strangely drawn to this game? I wonder why?
I tried playing this game but kept smashing my opponents’ teeth out. Wasn’t for me! Local dentists love it, though.
