Bombshell’s Grimdark Nuns Coming To Kickstarter Soon
May 19, 2025 by brennon
Bombshell Miniatures are closing in on their Kickstarter for The Sacred Costalera, a selection of Grimdark World War I-esque warrior women who would be perfect for dropping into games like Trench Crusade.
Quarantasetti // Bombshell Miniatures
There are some excellent miniatures coming your way from Bombshell, including the Quarantasetti. Some say that she was never a human at all and could have been a failed experiment where a pilgrim was turned into something more through holy blessings. She is now the manifestation of a divine will, bringing judgment to the violent, the greedy and the malicious. They are taking stigmata to a whole different level!
You can also get your hands on another character soon in the form of the Corpus Dei.
Corpus Dei // Bombshell Miniatures
Known as She Who Sees Clearer Blind, her name was lost but she is now a legend that moves through the trenches like the terrible creeping mustard gas unleashed by your enemies. Wherever she steps, like a terrible spirit or ghost, she reaps the souls of the unjust.
Capping things off for this particular previous, you can also get a set of miniatures representing the rank and file, the Progressors.
Progressors // Bombshell Miniatures
They are a modular set that allows you to build and arm them in different ways. Whilst others of their order throw themselves into the heat of battle, the Progressors take aim from afar and level their guns at unbelievers.

You can check out more of the miniatures Bombshell has been working on HERE and then head over to Kickstarter to sign up for notifications when the campaign goes live. The miniatures will be provided as digital STL files that you can print at home. As well as the miniatures, you'll also be able to get a bunch of scatter terrain for making thematic battlefields in the likes of Trench Crusade or Warhammer 40,000.
Are you going to be picking up The Sacred Costalera?

Not a huge fan of barefoot minis in modern/modernish/modernish-looking settings but other than that they’re sweet.
