Brother Vinni added a new set of 12th Century Medieval Knights to their collection for those seeking to add to their 28mm scale Historical collection for games like SAGA: Age of Crusades and beyond.

12th Century Knights #1 - Brother Vinni

12th Century Knights // Brother Vinni

This set features four Medieval Knights from around the 12th Century armed with swords and shields. They have been designed as a set of four, so they should fit in nicely alongside what you'd need for warband building in the likes of SAGA.

The designs for the miniatures are posed as if they are in the midst of fighting, which is perfect for skirmish wargames in particular. I also like that their shields and tabards are blank, so you can paint them to suit whatever kingdom, baron or knightly order that you'd deem suitable.

You'll also note that the knights all have different helmets, which is a nice touch and helps to personalise these warriors if you were going to name them. The set looks simple but effective, which is what a lot of folks will be happy with. I do like the added belts around their waists, which help to break up the poses. You've also got those detailed scabbards, allowing you to introduce some warm leathers into the painting of these miniatures.

How would you paint these Medieval Knights?
