Special Figures! Celebrate 20 Years Of Black Scorpion Miniatures

Black Scorpion Miniatures are celebrating twenty years of creating figures for your wargames! With that in mind, they are currently running a celebratory sale, which also includes some special miniatures, that will be running until the end of today (Monday, 22nd September).

We start with this fellow, who is the first of the anniversary miniatures designed for this twenty-year celebration. He is a grog-swilling pirate with a fearsomely good beard and a big ol' cannon slung over his shoulder. A nice reminder that Black Scorpion is probably best known for its Cultass! range and miniature game. He'd look good when painted up and painted on the deck of a rolling ship or an equally rolling (although most likely because of the drink) tavern!

The second of the anniversary miniatures is Intrepid 25.

Here, we're changing lanes and checking out a daring Steampunk-style adventurer, accompanied by her animal companions on her adventures. She comes with a hefty-looking pistol that spits out enough shots to have you diving for cover, whilst her chimp companion is also packing heat!

Both of these miniatures are actually free if you spend at least £20 on the Black Scorpion website. So, if you've been looking to pick up some of their miniatures, this is a great time to get those goodies, plus some great bonus figures for you to paint up and add to your collection.

More Miniatures

There are plenty more miniatures where they came from, all available over in the 20th Anniversary Specials section of their website. For example, if you're a Wild West fan and want some more miniatures to add to Tombstone, then you could get Sheriff Coburn.

No one is going to escape that revolver! It looks like it could blow the barn door off its hinges. He also sports a shotgun should he need to get up close and personal with any deadly bandits and vagabonds.

Switching back to Cutlass!, you could also get your hands on the rather flamboyant Admiral Dylan Lloyd, who is going to be swaggering through boarding actions, blowing away pirates with ease before getting stuck into some swashbuckling action, no doubt.

All of these miniatures are going to be available for you to pick up for the remainder of Monday, as the celebration will come to a close tonight! That means that if you want to scoop these up then you'll want to dive in and do some shopping on your lunch break.

The Black Scorpion range really is very nice and perfect for a lot of the 32mm skirmish wargames out there right now. They are always packed with character and a lot of the older miniatures are now getting scanned and then digitally converted, so they get more time in the sun.
