Para Bellum has put a whole host of new sets up for pre-order for use in Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and First Blood. The Dweghom and the Yoroni are the focus for this particular set of releases for this 35mm Fantasy wargame.

Dweghom Found - Conquest

Dweghom Found // Conquest

We start off with some strange creations amongst the Dweghom and their Found and Lost. These Dweghom come in two forms and follow their Ancestors back to the surface, looking to unleash blazing infernos and salvos upon their enemies.

In-game, the Found are slow and purposeful, unleashing the devastating ranged firepower on the enemy, which then allows them to tear apart tightly packed infantry in an instant. A good way for you to break the enemy lines.

Next to the Found, we also have the Lost.

Dweghom Lost - Conquest

The Lost act as living, walking shrines that are devoted to war. They ignite literal fire within the Dweghom, which then drives them to horrific acts of savagery and destruction on the tabletop. A great boost to your Dweghom army rather than taking an active role.

Sticking with the Dweghom, we also have another Artisan Series addition to Para Bellum Games' suite of releases. Now, you can pre-order the Ancestor, which embodies the inferno raging within the forces of the Dweghom in gorgeous resin (and plastic).

Dweghom Ancestor - Artisan Series // Conquest

This is a brilliant new miniature which showcases those who would brave the prison of War. The Ancestor supports the Dweghom on the battlefield, pushing your troops into acts of valour. It is a gorgeous new miniature which showcases the powerful spirit within each of the Dweghom and what elevates them to another level entirely.

I think that folks are going to have a really nice time painting up this miniature, playing around with different schemes and ideas to represent the fiery spirit!

New Yoroni Miniatures

As well as the Dweghom, we also saw a new Dual Kit for the Yoroni. You can get your hands on the Joroumo set, which comes with the Geisha and Mahotsu versions for you to choose between.

Yoroni Jorogumo Mahotsu // Conquest

The Geisha sings songs that bring to life the ideals of the Yoroni. This then inspires and strengthens the Yoroni forces nearby. Whilst this might be a support unit, the rather large spider that you see crawling about beneath these ladies can tear apart anyone who threatens them.

The Mahotsu is, by contrast, a Void Spellcaster who can weave subtle spells and hexes which trap the enemy in webs! This means that the Yoroni forces can then take advantage of that and cut them down easily.

Which of these would you end up building for the Yoroni?
