Creeps & The Wretched Arrive For GCT Studios’ Bushido
June 27, 2025 by brennon
GCT Studios has introduced more brand new miniatures for their 35mm Fantasy wargame, Bushido. Some creepy creatures, terrifying spooks and wretched killers are on the way.
Nintoku // Bushido
Nintoku is a terrible executioner from The Cult of Yurei. As a melee-based killer, he has a solid profile, which means that he is going to be able to deal some serious damage in combat. He also has the ability to slip his noose over the neck of an enemy, meaning that allies are going to be able to land some of their devastating abilities.
The miniature is gorgeous and is giving me a few Pyramid Head vibes when it comes to the robe and the large sword. A nice new addition to the already creepy Cult of Yurei.
If you're looking to expand the options for The Awoken and their spider-folk, you can also get your hands on a new miniature for Katzu.
Katzu // Bushido
Katzu comes covered in spiders, which slowly drain his blood but he is still able to wield his bow effectively and take down foes from afar. He also has the ability to bring more swarms to the tabletop, which can then flood the board and make things terrible for your opponents.
The Minimoto Clan are able to unleash their fury with the mighty Kamuy, who epitomises the bear-like spirit of this clan from the mountains.
Kamuy // Bushido
Summoned by the Ice-Witches of the mountains, this spirit of ice, storms and death, Kamuy can maul his way through many opponents. He is strong and fearsome, with the ability to rend his foes should you come close to those claws. There is a downside to Kamuy in that he can melt, so you need to get the most out of him before he vanishes or keep him in a blizzard!
If you're looking for a bestial creature to unleash on the tabletop, then you can also get your hands on the Master Bat.
Master Bat // Bushido
Master Bat represents one of the ancient and immortal celestials walking amongst mere mortals. He is the embodiment of the Cycle of the Bleeding Moon and has quite the toolbox of tricks that would suit a mixture of lists. This means that you can fold Master Bat into various factions, but it would be perfect for those seeking to nail the ninja theme.
New Starter Box
Capping things off, we have The Wretched which is a new Cult of Yurei Starter Set for you to consider snapping up for Bushido.
The Wretched // Bushido
Kokou leads the way here, a man who now lives forever. He is now joined by a living nightmare of undead spirits and twisted servants, damned men who now only serve to bring down the living and support the growing strength of The Cult of Yurei. He is never short of allies.
Will you be picking up these new miniatures for Bushido?

Um. Have they printed loads of boxes and things referring to the Master Bat?
Is it really the best way to get into the moon circle?
Good sculpts and loving the models.
Don’t play it but so want those Wretched and the big bat fella…I’m sure I’ll find a use for them somewhere.
