Crooked Dice has released a whole host of new Sci-Fi miniatures into their collection for use in 7TV and beyond. Starting things off, we have some ultimate killer robots that are going to be seriously awesome to face off against with your adventuring crews.

Military Robot - Crooked Dice

Leading the way, we have the Military Robot. This is giving off some obvious retro ED-209 vibes meaning that this should fit into all manner of cool Sci-Fi encounters. The design is such that it would be fun for something grimdark or maybe a bit more High Sci-Fi without issue. It would all come down to the paint scheme.

Secondly, we have the murderous and skull-faced Killbots. I absolutely love the vibe with these! The skull "masks" certainly make them look all the more menacing and evil and I think the red glowing eyes are very fitting.

You could also paint these in a very different way. It might be even scarier to paint these in an off-white, still with the grinning skulls. They could be the ominous bodyguards and watchers that wander the streets of some dystopian future city.

Colony 87 Releases

As well as the deadly robots, the folks at Crooked Dice have dropped a bunch of new characters for their Colony 87 range. If you liked the idea of populating your spaceports with some fun and interesting characters then they have you covered.

Muscle - Crooked Dice

Noble Retinue - Crooked Dice

The Muscle and the Psychic could be used as interesting NPCs that you meet during your games. Or, you could use them as specialists within a Stargrave crew perhaps. The Noble Retinue includes the notable Queen Without A Crown, Mariel Vandestine. She is shadowed by her chamberlain Hercules Bouys and a pair of homonculid retainers.

So, if you wanted to explore the story of Colony 87 in 7TV with its denizens then you can indeed do so with these sets. Or, as with the other releases, drop them into Stargrave and use them as fascinating characters in your campaigns.

Some bonus Starport miniatures have also been added into the mix if you want some background characters.

Fueler - Crooked Dice

These poor Ogroid fellows feel like they have drawn the short straw. I like the idea of them being background characters within your games but when the fighting starts, they decided to start clobbering whoever is nearby. They seem like they would be fiercely protective of the Starport and so would try and stop anyone who starts shooting in the vicinity.

Are you tempted to pick these up for use in 7TV or further afield in Stargrave?
