Victrix Miniatures are now taking pre-orders for their new 28mm plastic Medieval Foot Knights that should fit in nicely with wargames set against the backdrop of the Late 12th to 13th Centuries.

Medieval Foot Knights - Victrix Miniatures

Medieval Foot Knights // Victrix Miniatures

There are thirty-two Foot Knights in the set that could be used to fight in the Crusades, the First and Second Barons' Wars, the Spanish Reconquista and even as the Germans, French, Poles and Italians that were fighting during this period.

When it comes to options, the sprues give you variants covering knights in mail and surcoat and others wearing just mail. You will also find flat-topped barrel helms, conical helmets (Norman-style) and kettle helms.

Rebel Barons - Victrix Miniatures

When it comes to weapons, you'll be able to get swords, axes, double-handed axes, spears and maces. You will also find options for crafting your standard bearers and musicians, keeping stock of what's going on on the battlefield.

Loyal Barons - Victrix Miniatures

Last but not least, the set also comes with two sprues of Medieval heater shields, and you'll also get raised crosses and severed heads, which can be used to personalise your miniatures. A great set of miniatures which, by Victrix's own admission, pushed the boundaries when it came to what they could do with these plastic sets.

As you'll have seen here, these miniatures would be great for playing out battles in Europe, but also further afield in the Middle East during the Crusades. This set would match up VERY well with the Islamic troops that you can also get from Victrix.

Could you be tempted to scoop up these new Medieval Foot Knights?
