It's full steam (and sail) ahead when it comes to Armada in 2021 from the folks at Mantic Games. They have already set their sights on bringing new Fantasy factions to the tabletop for you to play as including the might of the Dwarf navy.

Dwarf Fleet - Armada

As it stands you're able to order yourself the Starter Fleet, Booster Fleet and also a Getting Started Bundle which will enable you to play as these skilful engineers and sailors. I do like the idea of not having to rely on the wind to get where I'm going and racking up a seriously impressive array of cannons to blast away my foes.

Big Ships & More

As well as the addition of the new Dwarf Fleet which will be coming into view you've also got the news that we're going to be seeing some BIG ships coming for the Basileans, Orcs, Dwarfs and Empire Of Dust. For example, here is the Orc Ripper Hulk but they could get even bigger!

As well as the addition of big(ger) ships we're also going to be getting a new expansion which they have teased will be "flying" onto shelves soon. One would imagine we're going to be getting winged beasts and contraptions which can be used to threaten ships from above.

Keeping Shipshape

As well as the actual fleets themselves you can also get some accessories to keep everything organised. There are already MDF Armada Ship Card Trays which can be used to keep everything in order.

These do look nifty and I think they'd be even more fun to paint up or weather down to look like actual parts of a ship! You could go in and do a bit of detail work here and there for the lettering with gold and perhaps even add a bit of burning here and there too!

There is a lot to look forward to when it comes to Armada so keep an eye out for more on the horizon.

Which fleet for Armada speaks to you?
