Mighty Dwarves & Mercenary Ogres From Satyr Art Studio

Satyr Art Studio released even more 28mm Oldhammer Fantasy miniatures this week! Alongside those excellent Minotaurs, you can also get a warband of Dwarves and some surly Mercenary Ogres to bulk out your armies.

Dorin's Destroyers // Satyr Art Studio

We begin with Dorin's Destroyers. If you like your classic Oldhammer Dwarves, who were less Norse Warrior and more Medieval Knight, you can snap up this set to start building a regiment for your armies. The set is led by Dorin, who is backed up by a Standard Bearer and Musciain alongside a band of Dwarf Warriors with swords and armoured in chainmail.

What's nice about this set is that it could be great for your Dwarf armies but also as mercenaries to slot in alongside your allied armies made up of Men, Elves and Halflings. This was often how Empire armies were made up back in the day, so this could be a good way to rebuild an army in that image!

Learn a bit more about the lore behind Dorin's Destroyers in the lovingly crafted flyer above, which harks back to those old adverts in the magazines. A great set of metal miniatures that could be a new unit in your army of a warband for a skirmish wargame.

Mercenary Ogre Support

As well as the Dwarves, we also have a second set of Mercenary Ogres for you to snap up and add into that allied army.

Mercenary Ogres II // Satyr Art Studio

This is the second set of Mercenary Ogres featuring the characters Heim die Hungrigen and Der Katzchenschlucker. They come armed with heavy weapons for smashing aside the front rank of an enemy unit. You could use these alongside the other Mercenary Ogres to form a larger unit but they could also work as bodyguards for your hero in a skirmish game.

All of these miniatures are available as part of a First Run Sale, so if you're looking to get your hands on these miniatures, this is the best time for you to do so. Each of the Mercenary Ogres can also be picked up separately and Dorin's Destroyers can be bolstered with a booster pack, which adds more armoured warriors to your ranks.
