Warcradle Studios has announced a brand new product for their Dystopian Age range. Rather than miniatures, you will soon be able to dive into your very own Choose Your Own Adventure-style quest with Valiant!

You take on the role of the titular Agent in the Circus (Her Majesty’s Ministry of Intelligence), Valiant, who has been tasked with undertaking a daredevil mission for The Crown. This new book comes from a veteran of gamebook writing, Jonathan Green and is illustrated by Neil Googe.

The gamebook format means that you'll be able to explore the Dystopian Age like never before. Instead of the overarching battles and the political movements of the big factions in Dystopian Wars or Armoured Clash, you'll instead be jumping into the boots of Valiant, making them yours. Choose their gender, background and appearance and dive into feats of derring-do, battle against monsters and sow mayhem throughout the Dystopian Age.

I'm a big fan of a gamebook and I enjoy seeing all of the branching paths that you can take to different conclusions. I hope we get to see loads of iconic characters popping up in this first book and potentially more if the series continues! So… I have to pretend?
I like what Warcradle is trying to do with the Dystopian Age and the related games, my only criticism is they have mulyiple games yet seem to have laser like focus on only one of them for extended periods of time. This looks interesting and is a good idea … I’ll check it out
