Warcradle Studios has been showing off some additional reinforcements for those starting out in Dystopian Wars. You can pre-order Frontline Squadrons for both the Commonwealth and the Enlightened before their release at the end of the week.

Commonwealth Frontline Squadrons - Dystopian Wars

The first of these sets is designed for the Commonwealth Frontline Squadrons which comes with a selection of additional ships for building up your 1/1200 fleet. The miniatures in the set are plastic and there are a number of options for building them too.

The six miniatures in this set can be designed as Commonwealth Rurik Frigates and then a pair of Commonwealth Cruisers. Each of the Cruisers can be designed as a Kutsov, Norilsk, Oleg or Sineus Class Cruiser depending on the weapon options you like most.

As well as the Commonwealth we also have another Frontline Squadrons set for the Enlightened.

Enlightened Frontline Squadrons - Dystopian Wars

This set is similar but of course, shows off the various experimental ships that are part of the Enlightened fleet. I love how different and weird these ships are and I bet that you'd have a lot of fun stepping away from the typical iron-grey as you throw in lots of glow effects too.

Again, this is a set of reinforcements for those that might have picked up the Two-Player Starter Set for this new edition of Dystopian Wars. It comes with eight miniatures and two "tokens" which break down into two Enlightened Cruisers which can be built as Antarctica, Chatelet, Copernicus, Lovelace, Stiletto or Ulysses Class options. You've also got the Drone Frigates which will act as a screening force for your fleet which can be built as Germain or Merian Class options.

Finally, you also get that set of SRS Tokens which are going to be useful in-game for when you're heading beneath the surface of the ocean. If you want to immediately build on the options for your Dystopian Wars fleets then these seem like neat next steps.

Are you going to be snapping these up?
