Spend Your Gold On Satyr Art’s New Oldhammer Mercenary Ogres

Satyr Art Studio don't seem to stop when it comes to tinkering in the realm of Oldhammer. They have added a new set of three miniatures to their webstore for those building classic Fantasy armies of yesteryear. What do you think of their Mercenary Ogres?

Witger // Satyr Art Studio

There are three of them to choose from (all with names of course) done up in fabulous finery and eager to join the armies of the Empire in battle. You can choose between Blaubart, Witger, and Hagen or you can get all three of them as part of one set.

Hagen // Satyr Art Studio

Each of the miniatures has been designed to match the classic Oldhammer vibe with all of the characterful elements that you'd expect from that period. All the slashed silk is top notch and you could tie these Ogres into different provinces easily enough with the right colour choices.

Blaubart // Satyr Art Studio

This also makes them a shoo-in for anyone wanting to play games of Mordheim who finds themselves in need of a big, burly lad to watch their back. Either drop these folks into a regiment of their own in games like Warhammer: The Old World (or Fantasy Battles) or get skirmishing with them in Mordheim.

A solid set of miniatures from Satyr Art once again who continue to impress. They have got the Oldhammer theme nailed down and I'm always intrigued to see what pops up next from them. Could these Mercenary Ogres end up making their way into your collection?
