When it comes to role-playing games, there truly are so many worlds that we can explore as gamers. Whether we want to visit a universe of whimsy and brutality or visit a world close and familiar to our hearts based on a recognised novel or video game - there are mountains of scenarios and worlds available to dip into - and this library is only getting bigger - thanks to Kickstarter.

Yet, it is not just completely fresh content going up on Kickstarter. The ever-so-spooky tabletop RPG Delta Green from Arc Dream Publishing is taking a revisit to pull in some players of age... and some fresh meat to enter the horror too.

Landing on the 25th anniversary of Delta Green, the newest update for Delta Green has updated the original release which was released in 1996, with new rules, fresh content and a ridiculous amount of lore and story to discover.

The new and updated conspiracy-themed RPG targets many a mystery in the untouched universe - so if you like investigating and are pretty keen on getting your tinfoil hat out for a tabletop adventure that might start at aliens and end on Cthulhu - this could certainly be the campaign for you and your team.

Players will take on the role of an agent embedded into their workplace, Delta Green. Now, Delta Green is no ordinary government-controlled unit - this team of bright investigators are consistently placed front-and-centre in the world's most paranormal and unexplained events. To not only be in search of such unnatural beings on the planet but to take down threats and undergo a series of missions to explore the beings that lurk deep in the shadows, through both space and time.

There are a good few pledges if you would like to get involved in the already established campaign.  Players can grab themselves the digital PDF copy for as little as £15! However, if you are like me and you like big books and you cannot lie - the hardback copy is available to get your investigatory mitts on for a reasonable price of £29. If players did want to dip into the highest rewards, players can access all digital content as part of the pledge, and have access to absolutely everything for a whopping £217.

The campaign has 25 days left on the clock, and has already been funded within a matter of days. There are also a bunch of digital and physical stretch goals to be unlocked to ensure players get absolutely everything out of such a successful and established universe.

Have you visited the world of Delta Green before?
