Beast in the Broch, the miniatures company owned by one of the previous owners of Crooked Dice, recently added a new set of 32mm Sci-Fi miniatures to their website for pre-order. The Rebel Resistance Group can be snapped up and thrown into your Future Freedom Fighter games and beyond.

The set has been digitally sculpted by Carl Stoelzel before being mastered and turned into production casts in classic metal. The pack comes with a great selection of miniatures representing the Rebel Leader, one Rebel (Male), two Female Rebels, two Rebels with Long Rifles, a Rebel Grenadier and a Rebel Technician.

The miniatures that you see here are available to pre-order now at a reduced price and if you don't fancy getting the whole group, you could instead pick up each of the miniatures individually if you prefer. If you're looking for a particular character for a Sci-Fi skirmish game, you might want to go down that route.

You could, of course, use these miniatures for a mixture of different games but if you wanted to use them in one of Beast in the Broch's games, you can get the rules for Down and Safe over on their webstore which has been set up to facilitate fights between these Rebels and Federated Security (FedSec) forces.

The rules contain options for playing out neat skirmishes within their Sci-Fi setting against the backdrop of awesome 70s/80s action on the tabletop.

You might also find a use for them in Beast in the Broch's DWMG where these soldiers could find themselves dealing with all manner of space-focused threats when a certain blue-box-owning saviour isn't on hand.

Drop your thoughts below on these new Beast in the Broch miniatures and tell us if you'll be snapping them up for different games!
